Trainspotting: The Musical and the launch of the Ibiza Calm Foundation

Ibiza Calm Foundation

On Thursday 23rd July 2026, Ibiza Calm had the pleasure of welcoming friends, colleagues, and supporters to London for a special evening celebrating the launch of the Ibiza Calm Foundation, followed by a performance of Trainspotting: The Musical at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

The evening began with a private pre-theatre dinner, bringing together therapists, doctors, and other professional partners for an opportunity to reconnect, share ideas and enjoy one another’s company. It was wonderful to spend time with so many people who share a commitment to improving understanding of mental health and addiction, and to strengthening the support available to those affected.

Pre-dinner with guests

As conversations continued throughout the evening, there was a genuine sense of optimism and collaboration. Whilst everyone came from different professional backgrounds and experiences, there was a shared belief in the importance of compassionate, evidence-based care, and the value of working together to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and addiction. The launch of the Ibiza Calm Foundation reflects that same spirit of collaboration, bringing people together to create lasting, positive change and demonstrating what can be achieved when professionals, supporters and communities unite behind a shared purpose.

Later in the evening, more than 100 guests came together at the Theatre Royal Haymarket for a performance of Trainspotting: The Musical. Generously donated in support of the launch of the Ibiza Calm Foundation, the tickets enabled us to share this special occasion with clinicians, professional partners, friends, and supporters from across the mental health and addiction community.

The production explores themes that many working in addiction and recovery encounter every day. Experiencing the performance together provided an opportunity not only to enjoy an outstanding evening of theatre, but also to reflect on the realities faced by so many individuals and families affected by addiction.

The launch of the Ibiza Calm Foundation marks an exciting new chapter. Through education, collaboration, and community initiatives, the Foundation aims to increase awareness, encourage meaningful conversations and support projects that improve understanding of mental health and addiction. More than simply an evening at the theatre, the event celebrated new partnerships, strengthened existing relationships and recognised the collective commitment of so many people working to improve lives.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us for this special occasion. Your support, enthusiasm, and generosity helped make the evening such a memorable celebration of the Foundation’s launch.

We are also grateful to everyone involved in making the event possible and look forward to sharing more about the Ibiza Calm Foundation, its future projects and the impact we hope to make together.
